This blog is a journey for me as much as I write for those reading it. Even though I have been single parenting for so long, what really comes to light for me is that I need this blog and the information I hope to share with you, probably just as much if not more than most of you. One this is for certain is that doing single parenting alone couldn't be more harder than making cement without water.

So as I progress through this journey I hope to provide you all with the most helpful and insightful information there is to begin "Empowering yourselves to strive for all that you deserve"!!!!

You know ladies when I write this, it is not without knowing the pains of being a single mom. I have been a single parent for 20 years. The last 6 of those years has started a new type of single parenting as a single grandparent. It seems that I have made a profession out of being a single parent, and I have truly come across pretty much every struggle imaginable honestly.

2007 has truly been a year of reckoning and much personal growth. With the passing of my mom at the end of September, I promised her I would make her proud of me and they should would not have to worry about us while she waits for us. Hence I have started on this journey of becoming a Powerful Single Mom who is carving out her own future for herself and her girls. Ladies I want both my girls to know that they can do anything they want in this life, that the only thing that holds them back is the fear of the unknown.
